Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window. Invalid XML, the view cannot be loaded.

what is this error? I get this which I try to open Microsoft Outlook 2007 on a XP machine.

    This is because the Outlook cannot open in your current display setting.

    to fix this problem , open outlook from cmd prompt with /resetNavPane option.

    steps:

    start -> run -> cmd
    cd C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12>
    outlook.exe \resetNavPane

    should work.
